It should be noted that dragon trees are not trees as such, because they do not have a woody trunk. Consequently, it becomes very difficult to determine how old they may be, because unlike other trees they are devoid of the rings indicating their annual growth.

Their reddish fruit resembles a small cherry and it has an easy-to-sprout round seed inside.

If you stop to look at them you can never imagine the tremendous size these specimens can grow to. They are the pride of the people in the Canary Islands and Spanish citizens in general.
